In the latest episode of Quillette Cetera, I interview the outspoken feminist philosopher and Quillette contributor, Holly Lawford-Smith.

Holly and I don't agree on much, but we enjoy having a respectful and productive debate on questions such as how to define patriarchy, whether heterosexual sex is inherently male-centered, and whether evolutionary psychology can provide us with helpful insights into sex and gender.

Video version.

Holly is an Associate Professor in Political Philosophy at the University of Melbourne and rose to prominence after going public with her criticism of self-identification policies for people who identify as trans, and her advocacy for sex-based protections for women.

The audio versions can be found on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.
