How to Add Your Private Podcast Feed to Your Favorite Podcast App

Welcome to our private podcast! You’re just a few steps away from listening to exclusive episodes on your favorite podcast app. Since this podcast is private, you need to use a special link (also called an RSS feed URL) to access it. Don’t worry if you’re not very technical – we'll cover the steps in this article. Follow the instructions below to get started.

You should have received a unique podcast link (RSS feed URL) via email from us. It might look something like this:

If you didn't get your unique podcast link via email, you can get it by following this link: https://kernel.quillette.com/my-podcast-link.

This link is special and just for you, so keep it safe and don’t share it with others.

How to Add the Podcast to Your App

Different podcast apps have slightly different ways to add a private podcast feed. Below are step-by-step instructions for some of the most popular apps.

📱 Apple Podcasts (iPhone/iPad)
  1. Open the Apple Podcasts app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Go to the “Library” tab at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap “...” in the top-right corner.
  4. Tap “Follow a Show by URL” or “Add by URL” (the wording may vary).
  5. Paste your unique podcast link into the box.
    1. Tip: To paste, tap and hold in the box, then select “Paste.”
  6. Tap “Subscribe” or “Follow.”

You’re all set! 🎉 Your private podcast will now appear in your library, and new episodes will automatically show up as we release them.

📱 YouTube Music
  1. Open the YouTube Music app on your device.
  2. Tap on your profile picture in the top right corner.
  3. Select “Podcasts” from the menu.
  4. Tap on the “+” icon or “Add a podcast” button.
  5. Choose “Add podcast by RSS feed.”
  6. Paste your unique podcast link (RSS feed URL) that we provided into the field.
  7. Tap “Subscribe” or “Follow.”

📱 Pocket Casts
  1. Open the Pocket Casts app on your phone.
  2. Tap the “Discover” tab at the bottom.
  3. In the top-right corner, tap the “Search” bar.
  4. Paste your unique podcast link into the search bar.
  5. Tap “Add” or “Subscribe.”

You’re ready to listen!

📱 Overcast (iPhone/iPad)
  1. Open the Overcast app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap the magnifying glass button in the top-right corner.
  3. Select “Add URL” at the top.
  4. Paste your unique podcast link into the box.
  5. Tap “Done” or “Add.”

Your podcast will now show up in Overcast.

📱 Castro (iPhone/iPad)
  1. Open the Castro app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap the ”+” button at the top to add a new podcast.
  3. Select “Add a Podcast via URL.”
